Breakfasts were lovely and delicious.
Located in the downtown zone, it was an excellent home base for one night. The room was fabulous, attractive. Very central location was a plus. You could walk to boutiques and interesting independent shops.

The venue was in a very central location just off the High Street, Colchester, and interesting shops, lanes, historic buildings, many cafes and restaurants. Enjoyed the rooms, they were quiet and elegant with bathroom.

Tidy & fantastic unit with a very comfortable bed. Perfect and convenient characterful hotel location just next door to less than a 2 minute walk to High Street and 5 minutes to the castle, interesting shops, lanes, historic buildings, many cafes and restaurants and quintessential England. 15 minutes walk from a modern mall.

Staff always welcoming and terrific.
Location close to the clock tower, less than a 2 minute walk to High Street and wonderful Colchester. A lot of goodies for breakfast.

The room I stayed in was elegant and tidy with the fireplace and a very comfortable bed. The accommodation had a very central location close to everything you 'll need. It was also near Harwich ferry, the secluded garden and old town.

I loved staying in this very nice old and lovely little hotel based in a Georgian building. Tidy, fantastic room with a very comfortable bed, everything was amazing. The location turned out to be perfect and convenient, just next door to interesting shops, lanes, historic buildings, many cafes and restaurants, centre of Colchester and the historic Dutch quarter. Besides, this venue was located 2 km away from Discover Children's Story Centre.
